it’s important harry acknowledged the band made him and said he enjoyed the music they made as 1d and the fact he is releasing something in such different sound doesn’t equal proof of him not liking what they used to do as a group - the epitome of respecting your roots and, honestly, some ex one direction members should take notes :)

Hoo boy! You’re conflating two completely different situations here! It’s not shocking Harold would say he enjoyed the music they released in 1D because he was allowed to contribute to it directly. Zayn was not. Working in a creative environment where everyone’s ideas but yours are valued is bound to breed some level of bitterness because it’s fucking stifling as hell and, given that, it’s honestly surprising Zayn does not say worse about his experience in the band (which differed from Harry’s in every way and you need to take that into account when making your vague drag posts or you run the risk of looking foolish).
On the bright side, you honest to god being mad because Zayn’s taste in music differs from yours is probably the funniest thing I’ll see all week so thank u for not being totally useless.
